Jonathan Keigher, PhD
I am a licensed psychologist who assists adolescents and adults with anger, anxiety, attachment insecurities, depression and mood instability, PTSD/trauma, and personality disorders. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the City University of New York and have worked with clients for over 25 years. I have been in private practice for the past 15 years.

In graduate school, I specialized in the assessment and treatment of severe psychopathology as well as trauma and personality disorders. I conducted my dissertation research on trauma and adult attachment styles. After graduating with a doctorate in clinical psychology, I worked as a psychologist with the NYS Office of Mental Health for over a decade. I have taught extensively at undergraduate psychology departments and trained and supervised doctoral students and psychiatry residents in psychotherapy and clinical assessment.
Outside of my private practice, I am the chief clinical officer of one of the largest behavioral health providers in New York state where I oversee the treatment of thousands of patients and the clinical care provided by hundreds of psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners. On an ongoing basis, I participate in treatment team meetings for complex cases, train clinical staff on new evidence-based practices, and provide clinical guidance and case consultation.
